With “great greenness beneath, thousand-meter deep valley in front, sea of mountains right before, and blue clear sky up above”, it is the image what Qingjing Skywalk gives you. Walking on the 1,700 meters high above the sea level yourself gently with 2,000 steps is another experience.

The Qingjing Skywalk connecting the old trails of Qingjing Guest House and the southern entrance of the Green Green Grassland is 1.2 kilometers in length and 2.5 meters in width. The Skywalk used concealed elevated design to get away the road, get across the grass land and pass through the woods in consideration of the environment as well as the scenery. It is an overhead aerial trail that can take in panoramic views allowing tourists to appreciate sheep eating grass, wild birds flying on the tree tops while enjoying hiking on the safely-designed Skywalk. Along the way, there are six platforms where tourists can take rest for a while to feel the wind blow, appreciate the Central Mountain Range and the valley of the Zhuoshui River.

※Opening Hours：07:30-17:30(stop entering the Skywalk from 17:00)

※Please show your Nantou Fun Pass to the staff at the entrance for entry.

※Please get your hand stamped by the staff at the entrance for one day reentry permit if you wish to visit different parks and the store street alongside.

※Entry Notice

1. Please enter the Skywalk before 16:30.
2. Open Hours: 08:00-17:00. Entry after 16:30 is not allowed.
3. The maximum number of people on the Skywalk is 2,000.
4. Entrances:

  (1) Ticket checkpoint at the Butterfly Garden (Qingjing Tourist Information Center, the trail next to the Little France).

  (2) Ticket checkpoint at the South Business Circle (across from the vendor area of the South Business Circle at the Green Green Grassland)

  (3) Both ticket checkpoints are allowed for entry and exit. Please get your hand stamped for one day reentry permit and queue up according to the entry instruction by the staff .

※Other Notice

1. It is strictly forbidden to climb into the Skywalk during closure. For entry without authorization, we will retain the legal rights of prosecution and ask for the consequences.
2. The Skywalk will be closed in the event of typhoon, heavy rain, strong wind, thunder or other irresistible factors.
3. The Skywalk is located next to the Qingjing Farm at an altitude of 1,700-2,000 meters, and it is constructed with elevated structure. Please assess the physical and mental condition yourself for fear of height, high blood pressure, heart disease, drunkenness, asthma, pregnancy or other physical condition that is not suitable for entry. If any of these occur, please do not enter for safety concern.
4. Do not shake, play, run, litter, smoke or linger on the Skywalk.
5. Skateboards and bicycles are not allowed to enter the Skywalk in order not to affect the passage of other tourists.
6. You can walk slowly on the trail to appreciate the beauty of the mountains and woods.

※Prohibition on the Skywalk

1. No picnics or smoking.
2. No skateboards and bicycles (Wheelchairs and baby carts are allowed).
3. It is forbidden to run, jump, play and deliberately shake the railings and do other dangerous behaviors.
4. No pets (Guide dogs are allowed).
5. Please watch your steps to avoid colliding with others.
6. Please do not stay together in a single area on the Skywalk to avoid stress concentration and danger.
7. Do not litter in case that the animals in the pastoral areas accidentally eat the garbage.
8. Do not climb the railings or jump off the Skywalk. Please cherish one’s life.
9. If one fail to comply with the above-mentioned regulations and results in injury or property damage, he/she will be responsible for the loss. If the public property is damaged, the Nantou County Government reserves the rights to claim for compensation.
10. It is forbidden to use any camera drones.
