1/22-1/28 National Center for Traditional Arts Schedule
The National Center for Traditional Arts is located in the Dongshan River Water Park in Wujie Township, covering an area of 24 hectares. It adds an innovative experience to the traditional settlement space to deeply experience and appreciate Taiwan's rich and diverse crafts, folk arts, drama, music, and dance. The center is mainly composed of three museums (Concert Hall, Exhibition Hall, and Theater Hall), three streets (Wenchang Street, Luban Street, and Linshui Street), and three buildings (Wenchang Temple, Guanghsiao Shrine, and Scholar Huang’s Residence).
It is a dynamic museum that brings traditional arts to life and allows life to be lived without forgetting traditional arts. The antique streets and traditional buildings contain the wisdom and cultural heritage of the ancients, and there are daily exciting performances, including traditional opera, pugilism, acrobatics and musical theater.
